Was born and raised on cattle ranch in Wiley City, WA where he still spends time helping out on the weekends. Married to his lovely biologist wife Kristin and has a golden retriever named Ellie. He is an avid outdoorsman and mountaineer. In November 2017 was elected mayor of Zillah WA
